Developing and sharing the method
This site is a starting point. Here is how it could become a shared resource.
1. Consolidate (0 to 3 months)
- Review each guide with colleagues from the three tracks (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry) and from a nursing and allied-health section.
- Have the career path pages validated by members of CNU subsections and check every regulatory reference.
- Add, for each guide, an anonymised example of the deliverable (screenshot, blank template).
- Submit the recommendations on health data to the institution’s DPO (data protection officer) and clinical research department.
2. Test (3 to 6 months)
- Pilot group: 5 to 10 volunteers (junior academic staff, MCU-PH, PU-PH, pharmacists) who follow the one-week start.
- Measure: time saved per task (self-reported), most useful guides, sticking points.
- Share the skills: package the stable skills as plugins a colleague can install.
3. Teach (6 to 12 months)
- A workshop within existing programmes: DES (specialty training), university diplomas, training for clinical fellows, doctoral schools.
- A short module “AI and the triple mission” for newly appointed staff (MCU-PH, PU-PH).
- Conference sessions at learned societies, within teaching or “young members” sessions.
4. Evaluate and publish (12 to 24 months)
- A multicentre observational study: uses, time saved, perceived quality, incidents avoided.
- A publication in a medical education or hospital management journal.
- An annual update of the guides and career paths.
5. Open up
- Content under an open licence (for example Creative Commons BY-SA), so that every faculty can adapt it.
- Contributions per guide: propose a new guide (problem, method, deliverable, safeguards, starting prompt).
- Versions by track and by discipline.
Indicative roadmap, to be decided.
